Snow in October
10.30.03 (7:07 pm)   [edit]
Mood: Unsure/various
Song: "Save Yourself" Stabbing Westward

Well, haven't actually written a real blog-type entry in a while on here. Them quizes don't count.

So, uh... Saturday I'll start with. Kyle came over adn we watched The Italian Job. Good movie! :-D Definitely a must-see if you all haven't. And then the two of us, along with Geoff and Caiti went to the hockey game. It was an ... eventful ... night. We had to move seats multip0le times, because where my dad's season tickets are, is in amongst a bunch of rowdy, loud mentally disabled fans. They're good people and all, just really annoying when they're yelling in your ear, blowing train whistles and yelling. So we went to the other side of the rink. Did a little seat moving over there, before settling on one spot. Game went okay. We were down 0-2 in the first period, brought it back in the second to tie it at 2-2, and then each team scored another goal in the third, making it 3-3. By the end of the third, the score hadn't changed so it went into a sudden death overtime. The other team scored. So yeah, we lost. Oh well, not a big deal, I guess. Most interesting thing happened right after the game. the seats were those ones that fold up, ya know. Well, for some reason Geoff decided to stand on one. He slipped, foot fell through the back and he was well... stuck. Anyways. He couldn't get his foot out, coudln't get his shoe off because it was tied in a knot and wouldn't come undone. It was a mess. Caiti and I couldn't stop laughing, and had to walk a bit aways while various bystanders tried to help Geoff out. After about maybe 10 minutes, he finally got out. And we bolted outta there quick. Almost getting hit by a couple cars while making our way over to where my mom was picking us up, we finally finished off that night with an hour or so of tv.

Sunday was Sunday. Nothing happen, so no use explaining. Monday. Hmm, not sure what happened on monday. We had another fire bell at school. 14th of the year so far. Which is insane. The police are offering a couple hundred dollars award now for whoever can identify who's pulling the alarms. Yay. Tuesday, not much happened either. I didn't really do anything for work in school. Got a 100% on a big Drafting test, wrote a big advanced math test (which I think I got a 90 on, but I couldn've read the sheet wrong), and performed a small play in English with some people. It ended up being the best in the class - it was hilarious. So, yay!

Wednesday (yesterday), wasn't too special. Smallville was on, but it wasn't a very good episode. It made little sense, so it wasn't very exciting. Continuity was horrible. Oh well. At school there was a pumpkin carving contest. A guy in one of my classes who went to school with me for 9 year's sister won. Not sure what she won though.

Today the school continued with the halloween spirit week with the (get this) "Jack-Off Contest". Okay, okay!! Get your minds out of the gutters!, lol. Alright, I'll admit - the whole school laughed about it for a while when the name was released. Anyways, 12 people had to wear pumpkins on their heads and whoever kept it ont he longest without dropping it or having someone knock it off won. Well that ended when some girl got stabbed. Yes. Stabbed. Someone was attempting to get it off by jabbing the pumpkin with a pencil. Well, the pencil went right though, and into the girl's neck. Pretty gross, eh? From what I've heard, she's at the hospital, lol. Anyways. Student Council got in a fair bit of trouble for that.

Tomorrow, our school's hosting another one of those big volleyball tournaments. I only get to miss two classes this time, gym (becuase obviously the gyms are being used), and science (because my teacher is the varsity boys coach). Supposedly the last tournament, students were running around the halls too much during class time, so they had to stop that. Tomorrow students are also encouraged to dress-up. I'm not, but Geoff's going as a woman. Go figure. Caiti and I get to do his make-up, lol. Fun fun!

Speaking of Caiti, she's really starting to worry me. She doesn't talk at all, hardly ever laughs even at Geoff's jokes (man, he even started going on about wearing red silk lacey underwear today - that barely produced anything outta her). She's posted that she believes she doesn't deserve friends. But she does! We love her, and our little group would be nothing without her. She evens us out, makes us whole. And she's just such a cool person to be around - my bestest best buddy! I just really wish she'd stop being so down, and open up - tell us what's bothering her, because we're here for her, no matter what. Thing is, she also posted that she wants us to leave her alone . . . why, though? I don't get it. I want her to be happy, because when she's sad like this, we all feel sad. What do we do!?

:::: skulks off, mumbling to herself ::::

Some Quizes

Figured I'd get in on some of these:

I'm a guy? Pfft...

You are Agent Smith-
You are Agent Smith, from "The Matrix."
No one would ever want to run into you in a
dark alley. Cold as steel, tough as a rock,
things are your way or the highway.

Gotta admit, it's kinda true:

black
Your soul is bound to the Black Rose: The
Wicked.

"I am the wicked specemin of sin with no
profound logic to believe in. Hold me tight,
but don't hold me close, I go where I
desire."

The Black Rose is associated with manipulation,
control, and virtuosity. It is governed by the
goddess Psyche and its sign is The Tapestry, or
Crafted Love.

As a Black Rose, you may have a slight wicked
streak running through you. But whether you
are naughty or nice is up for debate. You know
how to get what you want and can work people
for what they're worth. You have great people
skills, but can sometimes be a bit of a control
freak.

You are Form 0, Phoenix: The Eternal.

"And The Phoenix's cycle had reached
zenith, so he consumed himself in fire. He
emerged from his own ashes, to be forever
immortal."

Some examples of the Phoenix Form are Quetzalcoatl
(Aztec), Shiva (Indian), and Ra-Atum
(Egyptian).
The Phoenix is associated with the concept of life,
the number 0, and the element of fire.
His sign is the eclipsed sun.

As a member of Form 0, you are a determined
individual. You tend to keep your sense of
optomism, even through tough times and have a
positive outlook on most situations. You have
a way of looking at going through life as a
journey that you can constantly learn from.
Phoenixes are the best friends to have because
they cheer people up easily.

Eeeek, I'll keep that in mind, lol:

Violent Drunk.
"Are yoush looking at meee?"

up offended for one reason or another. This
can lead to verbal arguments or all out fist

Scary Movie 3!!!!!
10.24.03 (9:46 pm)   [edit]
Mood: Giddy
Song: "Shut Up" Black Eyed Peas

Oh my god! Most hilarious movie ever is... Scary Movie 3! I just got back from seeing it and WOW. I laughed the whole time! It was SO funny!!!!! :D Ya'll definitely have to see it asap! You'll love it! :)

Little down that Caiti couldn't come. She wasn't home. Oh well, she said on her blog she didn't feel like doing anything with us today anyways, so whatever. Tomorrow. I'm taking her to her very first hockey game. A WHL game with our city's team the Brandon Wheat Kings (Go Wheaties!! - yeah we're hicks, what's your point?) against the Swift Current Bronco's. We've beaten them all 3 times we've played them so far this season, so it's gonna be awesome. Whoo-hoo!! I'm also having Geoff and Kyle come too. Geoff said he's only been to a couple games (pffft), and Kyle's been to quite a few, so that's good. I don't see why Geoff and Caiti never really went before. The games are so much fun. Intermission is the only partly-bad part - getting crammed together with a couple thousand rowdy fans, lol. Oh well, it's all worth it. You always see SO many people you know there, so it's cool. I can't wait!

Well, gonna go now. Talkin' to Caiti on the phone. Later!

Long-Weekend!
10.23.03 (8:28 pm)   [edit]
Mood: Pretty content
Song: "Unstoppable" The Calling

Yay, long weekend! It's looking to be a good one too. Well, for the most part. Today, Geoff, Kyle, and I went to the Yamaha place to go see if Geoff's dirt bike was ready. It was (pfft), as is Kyle's, and so now it's just my bike that doesn't work. Stupid clutch is all screwed - arg. And now my dad is saying that it's "too late in the season" to bother riding anyways. Hardly, geez. So yeah. The Yamaha place had some kick-ass new bikes there too. I sooo want a new bike - a bigger one too. Mine's only a 70, and Geoff and Kyle's are 120's and 110's. I can't ride my dad's cause his is a 250 - waaaay too big. But for a new 120 or so, it's still a couple grand. Grrr. Maybe some other time - I'd be happy if mine actually worked.

Anyways, after that little adventure, we all went and ate supper, and then were off again. This time, Geoff, Kyle and I goofed around for a bit waiting for Caiti. Once we got let into her house, mindless misadventures ensued, lol. Geoff got shoved down a flight of stairs, and pushed off a chair(though he pulled me down with him that time). And then we were sprayed with disgusting smelling air freshener which wouldn't allow me to breathe, lol. I was litterally choking, getting dizzy, and seeing black around my eyes. Freaking out, I managed to get outside to fall onto the ground, lol. At least there was air out there - though my throat and head hurt for the rest of the night. After that, we got Alex and took Geoff's video camera and filmed us doing some more crazy stuff. Kyle and I were hyper, and so were found doing flips, tripping each other, kicking each other, rolling all over the ground... I got mud stains and rips all over my favourite pants. And just now found a couple cuts from the stupid hay that was out in the field we were in. Anyways, next we went to Alex's house where we watched tv, I slept for a while, and then we all went home.

So here I am now. Fairly bored. My dad is showing his friend (a guy he works with - he's a lot younger, say mid-twenties and is pretty hot if I do say so myself. Fairly tall too - maybe 6'3, lol. Gotta love them tall guys), this video my dad filmed while he was down in Mazatlan (that's in Mexico for those who don't know). So yeah. Crazy Mexicans on that tape, lol.

'Righty then. I think I'll stop talking for now - maybe go find something of some interest to do.

Ta-ta!

The 'Cowboy' Did It
10.20.03 (5:26 pm)   [edit]
Mood: Kinda bored
Song: "I'm Not Driving Anymore" Rob Dougan

Well, according to my brother, some kid at his school in grade 4 was found at fault for setting that car on fire out in the field, lol. He's been fined a couple grand and is going to juvi. Serves him right, I guess. My brother says he's a brat who always dresses like a cowboy (more than Clark kent status with the flannel - this kid even wears cowboy boots sometimes, lol). So yeah, there's my little update on that fairly dull situation.

So, Monday. What a great day, eh? Whatever. School was school as per usual. Nothing exciting. After school, Kyle and I got Geoff, Caiti, Scott, and Chris to play volleyball for all of 2 minutes. Pffft. Maybe tomorrow they'll play longer. Volleyball is cool! :D

I'm just waiting for Geoff to phone me back now. Kyle, Caiti, him and I are going to watch Matrix: Reloaded tonight, even though Geoff and I have both seen it before. Oh well. Revolutions is coming out soon! Yay!!! Can't wait for that. It looks SO good, and I must know what happens next, especially after the ending in Reloaded. Wowzers!

Okie dokie, I'll go now I guess.

Tootles!

Fire In The Field, lol
10.19.03 (3:34 pm)   [edit]
Mood: Curious
Song: "Breathe" Nickelback

Well okay. I was just sitting here doing whatever, when suddenly I smell a bit of smoke. I didn't think nothing of it, because I have a candle going right here on the desk and it's getting down low. But then a few minutes later, I hear sirens - a lot of them. Run upstairs to find out what's going on, only to see an old car sitting in the field across the road aflame. And a couple fire trucks, an ambulance, a police car, and a tow truck were all trying to figure out a way to get out into the field (they ended up just driving right off the road, lol). So for whatever reason the car caught fire - no idea why there's a car out there in the first place. Emergency crew is still out there, putting out the blaze, and there is a fair bit of smoke in the air . . .

Yep just another regular day here in cow town.

New Computer!
10.18.03 (5:34 pm)   [edit]
Mood: Estatic
Song: "Shut Up" Black Eyed Peas

Whoo-hoo!! Yay, I'm so happy. Everything is just going great lately. Best of all being the new computer. It's freakin' amazing. Top of the line, including (my favourite part) CD-quality sounding speakers with an awesome sub woofer and of course a real-to-life video card. Yay!!! lol, yes I know ya'll probably think I'm bragging, but I mean - my old computer ran on Windows 95, only ever had less than 3 GB of free space on the hard drive (this one has 78 GB currently, hehe), speakers were litterally crap and everything skipped, it froze 3 times a day, the internet took forever to load because graphics were slow, and half of the programs didn't even work!!! It was nuts, lol. It's hilarious how my dad keeps going "Wow, what a great computer". Though I have to admit was when I showed him a DVD I had from a while back and said "Here Dad, this is a DVD". He said "They fit a whole movie onto that little disc?" "Uh yeah dad, including special features" "Amazing..." I burst out laughing then, lol. Who wouldn't - my god. My own father, never seen a DVD before. I better go teach him something. Myabe once he sees a DVD here on the computer he'll agree more to my getting an X-Box later this week. Yep, that's right - I'm getting an X-Box! Whoo-hoo!! lol. 4 controllers, 2 games including Halo, and a DVD remote - all for $300.00. Now is that a deal or what?

But anyways, I'm going to stop talking now because ya'll are most likely thinking "Oh that spoilt bitch - I don't want to listen to her no more,". Yeah, exactly.

So, anyways. I'm off to go discover some more cool things to do on here. Ta-ta!

Mood: Crazy - I can't decide
Song: "The Hardest Button to Button" The White Stripes

Great news!!! New computer is finished and we're getting it tomorrow!! Whoo-hooo!!!!! At long last, after . . . like 4 weeks or something, it's ready! Yay! lol, okay, okay. I know you're all thinking I'm like some computer-obsessed-nerd . . . well hey, I last this long didn't I? And I don't think I'm a nerd . . . I'm not very smart . . . Meh
So yeah, later this weekend I'll get to go on my new computer! I can finally play my game The Sims, I can get the new MSN, I can burn CD's, I can watch DVD's, I can listen to quality-sounding music, and oooooh it's just gonna be great, lol. Yeah, okay. I'll shut up now.

Still at my aunt's on her computer now though. My brother is mad at me because I told him I'd be home right after school to watch Matrix: Reloaded with him, but I instead when to Kyle's for a bit then came here. Ooops. Well, him and my mom just went out for dinner anyways - I'll just stay here with my aunt, I guess. Oh well.

Got our school progress reports yesterday. I have a B+ average. Not bad, I guess. I still feel really down about it even though everyone says it's good. I guess it's just a lot different from last year because we weren't marked so harshly back then. Oh well. At least I didn't get a 18% in English like someone I know, lol. Oh, boy - what a crazy kid.

Geoff, Caiti, and I have been filming for our little show lately. It's so fun to do - though kinda boring to watch, lol. We tape a lot longer than we realize - the time just flies by! The other night we went out to a big field nearby, and it was pitched-black outside. Freakin' scary! We ended up getting yelled at by that crazy lady who owns the land and stables right by the field we were on though. Maybe we were on her land still though - I dunno. Them crazy wood post/wire fences are confusing. Speaking of which, Caiti and I got pretty scared of one specific post. It looked like it was moving and the regular nightvision on the camera only went so far. It wasn't 'til later that I noticed the camera had a super-nightvision too. So instead of only seeing 5 feet in fornt of ya, you could see like 50. Have to remember that for next time - we'll have to get Kyle in on this soon too. He's never home.

Been getting a *lot* of headaches lately. Kinda weird - and very painful. Arg. If it keeps up, I think I'm gonna go see a doctor. Damn them crazies.

Alright, I'm putting ya'll to sleep now. But I must first rant on Smallville last night.

Ahhhh!!! Clark was dead - for uh, a couple minutes or something (haven't figured that out yet). It was pretty sick. He got shot with a kryptonite bullet and eeeewwww. I'm sorry, the whole thing with the Kents like picking it out of his chest like, blech! *gags*. But I'll admit - Tom did a great job at "dying", lol. Lots of screams - seemed sorta nuts at times, but then again I've never been shot so I don't know how that would feel, lol. Crazy. But yeah, it was such a cool episode because they finally reflected on past episodes and characters that have appeared. It was great to finally see that happen - that it actually did happen, and it wasn't just some long-lost crazy stuff. (need to stop saying crazy, ack). Trailer for next week's looks weird. I haven't read any spoilers yet for it (oh wow!) so I don't exacly know what's going on. As far as I could tell, Clark and Lana were clothe-less in a lake together, then Clark disappears, and then something about someone falling into quicksand, and uh - yeah. It's called 'Slumber'. Maybe it's all just dreams?

Okie dokie. I'll stop there now. Hopefully I'l get to be on here again this weekend. Yay!!

Song: "Numb" Linkin Park

Alrighty. I feel too, I dunno - bored to write a real blog entry now. Too much to write, and limited computer use time.

In a nutshell, Smallville is f*cking AMAZING! (Everyone must watch asap!!!!!); School is alright - the pep rallies are so cool, but I'm failing advanced math; my father hates me, every word I say, every move I make, every thing I do or don't do; I won't get a new computer 'til mid-November, so I'm stuck using my aunt's (which I'm on now) once a week; Caiti is really down lately; Geoff is sometimes scaring me with his blog enries; beating up Kyle is fun; Sefton still probably doesn't even know my name; gym class is evil and my arm is hurting like hell again because I was stubborn enough to push myself to the max in gym class when my arm wasn't near fully healed; the weather is totally screwed, cold in the morning + summer heat in the afternoon; the 18 page science exam is kicking my butt; and I'm going to stop talking now because I know no once gives a damn about what I think or say or do anyways.

Good song "Numb" by Linkin Park. Everyone must see the video (I really feel like that girl a lot), and listen to the song.

Dying without my music which was on my now totalled computer . . .

Well, as if my life couldn't get much worse - hey, look at that, it did. My computer crashed, so therefore it could be months before my parents get around to get another one. M arm is also killing me, but I'm lucky these pain killers are very strong - feel like I'm flying away . . . wish I could do that right now . . .

Anyways, expect very, very few (if any) posts for the next long while. Sorry guys - I wish I coul post more, but I think I'll have to resort to paper now . . .

Off to go sleep some more.
