Anyway, the hotel has a very nice lobby, with real comfy chairs facing north (to the mountains) - and I slept there for hours (jet-lagged on an 8-hour layover after a flight from Australia) one afternoon and they never bothered me - so I highly recommend it for transients (although I suppose I could have passed for one of their guests). As for living there - well I have lived in Vancouver and I assure you it does rain a lot - spose it's ok if you like that sort of thing, but not after years of Sydney sunshine. |
-Hamlet, Shakespeare ~*~*~*~ "I have to remind myself that some birds aren't meant to be caged. Their feathers are just too bright. And when they fly away, the part of you that knows it was a sin to lock them up DOES rejoice. Still, the place you live in is that much more drab and empty that they're gone." -The Shawshank Redemption ~*~*~*~ "We all start off wanting to change the world, but in the end the only thing that matters is changing one person's world." -Unknown |
